Jose's dad Pedro, came ahead of us and found this place in Mira Flores, in the mean time till we get settled and rested in our new home. We have been on the road for a couple of weeks and we FINALLY got a good night's rest. It had been awhile after having a tight schedule.
When I first got off the plane the first thing that came to mind was, THIS IS MY HOME NOW. I mean seriously, this is not a vacation, this is not a "short term" 2 month-6 month deal. This is IT!!! This is where God sent me to share Jesus with everyone and lead them to the Lord.
So, as far as this being my new home, like any new home, there will definitely be an adjustment period. It's very chilly here right now. It's over casted, and it was a different feeling being woken up to car horns and the sounds of the hustle and bustles of a busy city.
Right now Jose, Kat, and Pedro (joses's dad) are online drinking coffee, and doing some planning for the day. Today we are gonna try to achieve at looking at a few houses because this apartment is temporary, we need to find a place that we know we will live there for a year.
Next time I blog I will post more pictures, the picture that is on this blog is a picture over-looking our balcony were on the 15th floor.
Things for you guys to pray for:
- That we find a 3-4 bedroom house/furnished/washer and dryer/ in a neighborhood called La Molina/ all under $1,000
-For God's favor to be on us during our every day life here, ever since we started this, we have seen God's favor work in our live's and it has blown us away. He is faithful!
-That I can get a "religious visa" (missionary purpose) in less than 90 days. My tourist visa is 90 days, so with in that time I need to have all the finances and paper work for my religious visa so i can be here longer. I will be needing about $500 ...If you would like to help WITH ANY amount so I can begin this process, let me know :)
